Love pie? Who doesn’t? Then you might want to head out to the Laemmle NoHo in North Hollywood where the documentary short "Pie Lady of Pie Town" will be playing through Aug. 7. This film was shot last year over the course of about a week, using our RED Scarlet-X package a skeleton crew. Altitude FX - Media Coverage
We our proud to announce that the Altitude FX aerial video submission has been named the Grand Prize winner in the DJI Phantom video contest! Out of more than 500 entires worldwide, it is certainly an honor for ours to be selected. The video features the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in Chama, NM, and was described by DJI as "Incredible aerial cinematography. The compositions and graceful camera feel ready for the big screen." Pilot Daniel Luke Fitch was featured on KRQE News during the contest and again today after the winners were announced. This video was compiled by visual effects editor Daniel Luke Fitch from the high-resolution images that the rover has beamed back. All but a few frames from the descent video have come back at this point, with low-res thumbnails filling in for the missing ones in the video. The images have been enhanced with noise reduction, color balance, and sharpening “to make it look as good as it could,” said Fitch.
